2 weeks since payment, a week and a half since transfer

I placed a pre order on a Glock 19 Gen 4 Canadian Edition from Wanstalls and it's been almost 2 weeks since they took my money, and my transfer was approved on March 19th. It doesn't take more than a week to package up a bunch of pistols and send them out. Wanstalls was late to the party about getting their order of Glocks. I was told I would have a shipping notice by end of day yesterday. I still have not received any notice. This is getting ####ing ridiculous. By the looks of it I am not the only one still waiting for my pistols from Wanstalls. What is taking so ####ing long?
This is poor business practice and I will not be purchasing ANYTHING from Wanstalls again.
 
Good luck. Many will no doubt leap to Wanstall's defence, as being a site sponsor they can apparently do no wrong. I learned all I needed to about Wanstalls and their unkept promises with the M10X preorder fiasco. I haven't spent a dime there since, despite them occasionally having what I want. Once burned, twice shy.....never again!
 
Call them and relax pistols take a whike. Sometimes things can be overlooked in error. The last pistol I sold the recipient was informed o the completes transfer who informed me the seller as I had to call in to confirm the transfer was complete. If your goal is to shame a company to fill it's business you makes you a liability to deal with in future.

We still have phones in the 21st century. They are a lot less complicated than the phones of the past with dials and long distance to the next town. Use the phone.

I have called, I have sent emails. All I've heard is excuses. I just wanted to share my experience thus far.
This pistol has been transferred, and the business is well aware of when they are approved.
I won't be a liability for this company in the future as I've already stated I will no long be spending my money at Wanstalls.
 
If what you say is true, then something doesn't sound right. They have to have the pistol prior to doing the transfer. If their shipment was late, so would your transfer. They didn't do your transfer and then sat around and waited to recieve the pistol.
 
Pre purchase seem to almost always go sideways and take longer etc., I wouldn't personally pre purchase anything like that, but to each his own, better to get your name on a list and notified when they arrive! Pistols take time anyway, so, play with your other toys till it comes!

I wouldn't worry. I've always had great experiences with Wanstalls. Try calling. While you wait for your package, shoot your other guns in the meantime.:)

I wouldn't worry about it, I feel your frustration of the long waiting time when buying Restricted firearm. One of my friend is waiting on his as well, from another dealer ( been 2 weeks since he paid :D)... I am sure they are trying their best for everyone of their customers. Was in their store once last year, very nice people there, friendly and knowledgeable. Good luck on your order :D. You will get it for sure, that's the important thing.

Or the fact that a certain distributer wanted to gouge more out of their own Canadian market for a larger profit
