20.75" rail for 870 question.

I was looking at your website and came across this rail, but got a question on it before I pick one up. It says it can be installed by drilling and tapping the receiver. I plan on putting it on a 8.5" Grizzly, the receiver is already drilled and tapped, would this bolt to the holes already there? Also, can the rail be cut down if needed? I see its got a clamp on the end of it to attach to the barrel, would that still be useable if the rail was cut down? Thanks.

The rail has to holes to attach to eaither our stock adaptor of the mesa tactical high tube adaptor.
But yes drilling and taping your frame will also work. Lots of people have done this.
Yes the rail can be cut down no problem. The clamp will attach anywhere along the rail. As ther is a slot the full lenght of the rail. So the clamp can interface.
