Hi
I am looking for an ar 20" stainless steel barrel with rifle length gas port, threaded end for myzzle break. In 5.56. Full floating. Any dealer as any info on this barrel I would live to ear from you.

Thank you

look like they are all sold out in all Canada. How good are the lilja barrels? Because if I pay 550 or more for a barrel it better be good and I better like the rifle because the bill will be a bit more then planed with one of these barrels.

Ya I think your only option is a custom barrel from ATRS or Mystic Precision. you could try do the Brownells route depending on the price and what they have and what kind of paper work you wanna get into. I was on this same journey a few months ago looking for that same barrel but not wanting to go the custom route. Ended up getting a stainless 16" mid-length Aero Precision in .223 Wylde since Im just using it as a range toy and couldn't justify going the custom route. I think it will do well as I was getting MOA accuracy with handloads out of my Norc barrel.

Anyways, theres some food for thought so you can weigh your options and ask yourself what you really need. Going from a 20" to a 16" you only loose a couple hundred fps which isn't a huge deal because those fps dissipate pretty quickly considering how terrible .224 BCs are.

Check Wolverine. They list a 20" Barrel with 5.56 chamber @399.95, including gas block, tube, delta ring assembly and flash hider. Not full floating, but that is only a matter of removing the delta assembly.
I put one of these on my rifle, and it shoots very well.

Heck - if anyone knows of 18.6+ ar barrels that don't cost more than a new rifle I'd be interested.

If you aint fussy, CanAm has 20" Nork pencil barrels for $150...

I was in the initial stages of pondering brownells myself.

Not sure on the name to go with at this point, and it's a lower priority ATM. If they export them I might go criterion.

unless you want 18.6" or longer for a personal purpose... that length is still restricted so.... YMMV

OP - Armtac has 18" Noveske SPR stainless barels in stock. The ballistics of an 18 or a 20 are very comparable.
