20 g target shells are killing me to death!

Picked up 5 cases of 12g challenger trap loads on sale last week at Cabella's for $6.29/box. Yumm yumm said the hungry bear!

Asked where the 20g were so I could get 5 cases of it for the Mrs..... $9+/box. sadness.

I'm either going to have to convince her to go back to the 12g or find a deal on 20g loads!

Anyone know of any good prices in Central Alberta, or Edmonton? The best I've been able to find was Bashaw sports at $85/case

A 1oz 1200fps #7.5 or #8 load is pretty much a 20ga load at the cost of a 12ga load. Biggest difference ends up being the 20ga is a lighter gun, which can quicken fatigue.

I bought 3 x cases of Federal 20g from AmmoSupply.com last year for $70 a case. No more at that pricing, but still decent price on the Score Target.

Around here (Southern Ontario) 12 and 20 gauge shells are the same price. Buy a reloader for 20 gauge is an option to lower your cost from $9 per box.

I had to change to this load as I got older. Went from 1 or 2 rounds of trap to 5-6 rounds

How is any 20 Gauge load a Trap Load?
