20 Guage to .22LR - Shotgun Cartridge Adapter - Video Review

A velocity and accuracy review of the GaugeMate 20 gauge to .22LR insert.

No time to watch the video...? It's fun, but not terribly effective.

Dude, you should keep making videos. They're well done and you don't drone on and repeat yourself like most of the other stuff out there. It's just concise and to the point, I didn't have to fast forward or find another video. Just putting stuff at the end like the bottle shot, and the tube hitting the post is a better way to end the video than being like: "So yah, durrr, that's my gun".

I'm going to watch some of your other stuff now, I'm in the market for a single shot 20 gauge. I was thinking of buying a Cooey 84 and cutting it down to 24 inches, but I'm not sure if you can fire steel out of those models. Must do more research lol.

Not trying to sabotage the OP's thread, however, just yesterday, doing my own research into shotgun adapters, I came across another company (Short Lane) down south, which makes shotgun adapter that are longer and rifled. Specifically, here is a link to one of their 12 Gauge to .22 LR adapters (at 8" and rifled): http://www.gunadapters.com/12-gauge-to-22-lr-pathfinder-series/.

I did receive at least one order from Shortlane, but now they won't ship to me because I have a Canadian address.

That sucks. It's a Montana area code, I would understand if they were in California or the like.

Yes, it does suck. Big time. I took some to a couple of gun shows and they sold like hot cakes. Of course, we wild-eyed Canadians are all terrorists, you know. Well, just another reason to not go to the "Land of the Free". The US gov't treats us like suspicious characters.

I bought the set of 8 adapters from gaugemate. Comes .22LR, 9mm, .38 special, .45acp, .40S&W, .44mag, .45lc/.410bore and 20 gauge. There so much fun.

I assume most are rifled, but not the 20ga? What about the .410? If its .410 rifling will make it useless, while no rifling will seriously hinder the .45lc...
