Now that I have your attention I came across this.

So, would this be legal "ProMag Springfield M1A M14 Magazine .308 Win 20 round Blue"

The M1 Garand is a 30-06 fed from 8 round enbloc clips. The M1A is a 308 magazine fed rifle chambered in 308... No dice.

My m1 is 308.... from the factory It was made for the US Navy to shoot mines in water it just almost never got used.

Thats a M1A magaizen so it has to be pinned to 5 rounds to be legal... for the average person that is.. Police military, have Prohibited so they can have anything they want.

No the police/military do not have prohibited. They are excempt entirely while in the course of their duty. Their private collections and PALs are limited just like everyone elses.

What is truly stupid about the Enfield section of that legislation is that the Enfield is a bolt action, and as such has no magazine limit.

O but they did make an Lee Enfield into a machine gun in the past... I even got to see one the collector paid a ton of money for it and he couldn't even give it away. It was basicly bolt was cut and welded open with springs on the outside so the gun would lock open and when you pull the trigger it would shoot till the magazine was empty or it would break thats why it was rare. During WWII it was made to put more machine guns on the field so thats why they added it to the rules since there were only 10 round magazines at the time thats why they did it.

Now the AIA is diffren't in many ways to the Lee Enfield so you could argue its not a Lee enfield it just looks like one.

The police don't need a lience when working but for them to purchase and have the items they do have a firearms lience number just like any busniess does. (the department)

M1A is not M1 Garand.
Beretta 、 Breda and Springfield ought to produce more 308 M1 Garand rifle,but why they don't do that?
Do they have no interest in earning those money?

They did an anversy edition but it cost 1,200 and when you can buy a surplus one for 300-700 in the US they didn;t sell well. The big problem is we can't seem to get them out of the states.

When I first got my restricted license I was told TWICE by the CFC that I was good to go shooting my restricteds where ever a non-restricted firearm could be discharged....

That happened to a friend of mine too. He was calling in to get his first pistol transferred to him and said somewhat rhetorically that he needs to find a cheaper place to shoot as the range he joined was really expensive and he didn't want to pay for another year. She said something to the effect of "What about the woods?"

And he was like: "Uh, thanks, I'll keep that in mind." And then completely disregarded that information as he doesn't think he'd enjoy prison.

I've only needed to call the CFC a few times as I'm not an RPAL holder yet, and they've always been very nice but clearly the laws we have in this country are so bloody dumb that even the people who administer them don't have a clue what they are. Sad, really.

What would it take to create an adapter allowing the use of box magazines from bolt rifles on an m14? Like AICS magazines used with m24/m40 style rifles?

That happened to a friend of mine too. He was calling in to get his first pistol transferred to him and said somewhat rhetorically that he needs to find a cheaper place to shoot as the range he joined was really expensive and he didn't want to pay for another year. She said something to the effect of "What about the woods?"

If that happened to me, without batting an eye, I would say yeah you're right that would work, good idea, so I guess just issue an ATC for the woods then and I'll do that.
