20 round rimfire mags still legal?

it's a 22lr mp40 with a magazine that holds 23 shots. sounds awesome. but i know they passed that bull#### bill years back on the xd-25 mags and that they want everyone to have only five shots. how is this legal? if it is I'm all for it and want it but how is it legal?

Bx only illegal because it holds 25 rounds and was designed for use in the ruger pistol

Most rimfire rifle magazines are legal, regardless of capacity. There is a problem is if there is also a pistol version of the firearm.

You can get magwell adapters for the 10/22 so it can take 597 mags (i.e. 70 round drum mags)!!
