This is a start. While this range does not go to 200 yards it is a point to start.
Most of the information is posted on the target.
The target scored 91. The c-c measurement is 1.605". The factor for the size of the bullet hole was determined by measuring those rounds that sand out on their own . . . 0.202".
The rifle is a Cooper Montana Varminter. Leupold BR36 scope with 1/2 minute dot.
Since there was not enough elevation in the scope, a target was posted and the target for score was plumbed and set at 32" below the aim point. Burris Zee Rings are next . . .
Remington Eley Match with a velocity of 1062 fps. 29 degrees C., with hardly a trace of wind. The last 90 yards of this range is framed with trees so light was becoming limited.


I FORGOT TO MENTION HIS WAS SHOT OFF A HARRIS BIPOD!!!

Using the Cooper Jackson Squirrel Rifle and Remington Eley Match, the best group was 2.256".
There was some wind, literally from every direction and during one break the Kestrel was giving readings as high as 2.4 m/s which is close to 5 mph.
Shooting off a bipod as is the standard in our sporting/hunting rifle class. Group was off to the right and not worth scoring.
Rifle did not like Eley TENEX nor EDGE.

Shooting for group and with the scope could see a semblance of group. Scope: Bushnell 6-24 x 50 Tactical MilDot.

The last couple of days I have started back at our 192 yard range for a bit of practice.
Using the Cooper Montana Varminter with a Sigthron SIII 8-32 x 56, the elevation can be raised 16 minutes. One 10-shot group measured 2.11 and today it was 2.14".
Not so much for competition but because I can.

we we're getting good .

Now you want us to stretch that out ? Oh Well ... Okay .
 


The challenge on Sunday was to shoot 10 shots at 200 metres.
Cooper Montana Varminter, Eley Match Biathlon, Sightron 8-32 scope.
Ran out of elevation so set a similar target above this one for another 5 MOA of elevation.
The Sierra Infinity program suggested 20.5 MOA required to go from 100 Metres to 200.
C-C group 3.356". Not much wind but enough to move three to the left. Really happy when I saw that one touching the dot.
