200 yard ranges with drop in - Vancouver - BC

Hello,

I am having a hard time finding a range with drop in which will allow me to shoot my 22LR Rimfire up to 200 yards. I live in Vancouver and I do not mind driving up to 2 hours. Also, I also don't mind getting a membership.. but I was hoping to go shooting this coming week, how long do membership activations take?

Pretty sure there's ranges that long in Abby and Mission up the valley but I'm fairly sure they require a membership. I'm thinking you gotta pay to play. They may offer days open to the public, but i bet they would be swamped. If you are willing to drive maybe head out to the bush with a range finder? That's my preference but I like being out in nature.

Mission Rod and gun club has a 300yard range, and they are expanding and building a couple extra for long distance as well. but it is a membership range. They do allow random drop in days, but unsure exact days. Once a member tho you can go whenever you want after that.

I generally liked this range but the people there can get pretty FUDDy. Or that was the case 5-10 years ago.
 
I may head to the range this weekend. If I do I would be happy to take you as a guest. You can pay your 20 bucks and we can shoot at a few of the ranges there. At the R1, rifle range 1, you can shoot up to 300. They have multiple ranges. By far the most comprehensive range in BC. They do hold a high standard for safety and expect everyone to be responsible for their conduct. PM me if your interested. Cheers
