Went Northeast to Dawson Creek on the weekend just past. Had a doe deer LEH (x2) and a cow elk LEH. My partner also had the double doe draw. We filled all our tags in two days. Elk is a dandy, large and fat. One shot from the 30-338/180 Partition at about 370 yards did the job. Snow is sure tough to get around in, deep and heavy. Makes one wonder how the deer will fare this winter. Broke in my old Winchester P14 on the deer, worked just great! Freezer is looking mighty comfortable this winter. Regards, Eagleye.

Have no pics from the hunt site, but some of the animals are coming as soon as I get them developed. I'm not allowed to use the digital (boss's orders) :D Regards, Eagleye.
