2007 archery moose kill

My archery moose, sorry for crappy photo. I forgot the camera and could only take a picture back at the truck. And with no help they are just to big to set up for a photo shoot. Anyway he came in to the call and in a hurry, stopped about 10 yards from my stand looking straight towards me and when he turned and started circling I was able to draw and shoot. I found part of the arrow about 2 thirds of it with the fletch inside when I gutted him but the broadhead was sticking out the far side and I guess broke off someplace I couldn't find it.

he was dead about 100 yards from my stand. he was still calling back about 2 minutes after i shot him. I waited almost 2 hours and went to look and really just got lucky and stubled on to him right where the calls came from. Very little blood so the tracking was tough.

Great job! Nice trick with the calling after the shot. I've heard of guys doing that with rifles too, but never tried it myself. Sure seemed to help with finding him!
