As I left, Ben Huswait shot 192 with a final 25/25 on his last Parcour. There was a possibility of Bardou shooting a 25 on Parcour A, to tie. The odds were very much against this. Sir George Digweed struggled a bit and even shot a 50/50 yesterday. But had a bad day today. I had a great evening with him and Kate, Wednesday night. Meanwhile, I had my Hidefspex prescription Panthers stolen Thursday. I shot blind for 3 days. It cost me all the on edge and in the woods targets.
The targets were quite good with a strong mixture of hunting style targets (it is Parcours de Chasse, Parcorsso di Caccia) and a few technicals thrown in with also a few distant shots. It was a very well balanced course. Parcour A was the extreem with much distance and speed.
I have never been to a major shoot were I was hit so many times by pellets. Even in the safe areas such as the exibitor area, we were hit. The roof of the food tent sounded like it was under a continuous hail storm. Also, the transportation sucked. We were bused from a shopping centre parking to the gorunds in the hills. The service was erratic and slow.
There are pictures in my website, under the Storefront, Euro 2008:

We are off to Trieste tomorrow and then the Venetto area, including Venice on the weekend.
Best regards,
Henry
