The 2008 Mossberg Classic presented by FN Sports was held at the Montreal Anglers and Hunters, L'Acadie Shooting Complexe. HOA was Brice Du Ponsel at 93 followed by Shawn Stitt (junior) at 92. Some very interesting and somewhat weird targets were set by Tony Olivieri. Pictures can be seen at my website:

I will be off to Europe next week for the European FITASC Championship at Hirtenberg. Hopefully, I will have my laptop working this week or a new one by the weekend. I will post the pictures of the shoot on my site. Please note that you may email pictures for free from the site.

61 guns as there was NO advertising and it was word of mouth! It still was a lot better than some other so called major shoots in the rest of Canada! The format was little complexe with 3 pairs of true doubles followed by AB and the BC report targets. 6 guns were given out followed by some 43 doorprizes. FN Sports and the club gave every volenteer: 100 free targets, 100 Federal Top Gun ammo, a shell bag for 100 shells and a bun warmer! All in alll, a very well run event with excellent score keepres properly rewarded.

As mentioned, I leave Monday for Austria. I will post some neat pics from the Mannlicher new shooting facility in Weiner Neustadt, some tidbits about Hal Dupont after dinning with his sister, something about dinner with the King George Digweed and other bits of info from the Euro.
