Well after tonights vote at EESA it is official.

EESA will be the host club for the 2008 Ontario IPSC Provincials.

Dates are Sept 17th to 21st

We are combining the Provincials with the 3rd annual Drama Daze IPSC fund raising match for the local high school "Lord of the Ranges".

This will be EESA's 2nd Level III match and our first ever Provincials.

As such I will be looking and hoping for help to get this off the ground.

Details will be posted as they become avaiable.

Thanks Azone (you know I was counting you already).

Some help from La bell province would be greatly appreciated Philproulx.

I am afraid that hosting this match will mean that I will not be able to make your Provincials. That was a match that I had promised I would make this year!!

Wow.........CKC123 has stepped up with some Stage designs. All I can say is that they are blowing me away. This is certainly going to be the best match EESA has ever hosted.

mmmmmm..... mind blowing stages???? So Storm.... when are you posting the stages? :D:D:D:D:D:D :runaway::runaway:

Is it appropriate for a couple of newbies, one being a junior at 15 years old, to get their black badges and attempt to paticipate in the Provincials?

And talking about the Black Badge course, can anyone please PLEEEEZ point us at a training weekend that will take place soon. The only one we are seeing is Waterloo at the end of the month.

TIA

Not only yes but HELL YES! My son is 15 and he will be shooting it. He got his BB a year and a half ago and shot last years provincials as well as Drama Daze.
Particularly this Match (IMHO) as it is combined with Drama Daze III which is a School fund raiser match. I love to see as many Juniors shooting it as possible.

Sadly I do not know of any other course weekends (but I am sure some till come up).

I had planned on one more at EESA......but now with organizing this match I doubt it.

The bigger matches have bigger , fancier stages
I tell new BB grads at our practice (or a level 1 ) that line on the ground is a wall
At a Provincials or Nationals the wall is really there
By all means attend if you can

organize a special BB course to coincide with the provincials for Juniors.... Take the course Thursday and Friday and then shoot on Sunday that way they can get the course and qualifier in all at the same time... I know you have tons of free time on your hands Storm... you can pull it off

It would be nice to have a match without silly gimmick stages, which test things other than shooting ability (like those short term memory test stages, low light stages which test eyes' ability to adjust to darkness, etc)... :)
