Thought I would bump this up.......entries are coming in and we have recieved intrest from the three western provinces one territory and the US again as well.

match booklet is well along the way to being complete

We are still (as always) looking for more sponsors
hopefully Troy or Bob will be along to add to the ones I know of:

Canadian Army LFWA
Freedom Ventures
Wilson Combat
AIM projectiles
Armco Machine and Plating
Husky Fuel Services (Terrace)
Canadian Tire (Terrace)
The Bullet Barn
Higginson's Powder
The Shooting Edge
NFA
Brownell's
North Peace Rod and Gun
P&D Enterprises
Northern Savings Credit Union
Rio Tinto Alcan

I know there are more but am drawing a blank......

Last years Provincials was a great sucess and we are hoping to improve on that.
Hopefully we can get some competition for Roy V who traveled up from Washington state last year and walked away with "High Distingushed Senior"
Roy has told us he intends to come up here again for our shoot and for those of you who have not met him he is a 77 year old ball of fire.

looking forward to seeing you here

we will have 3-5 people attending from our area, just have to nail them down... we do not start shooting till may 12th so will make sure I print out and bring entry forms.

You have to register ahead of time. Applications are on the Terrace Rod & Gun Club web site. You must be an IDPA registered member and must have shot the IDPA Qualifier in the Division you enter. We accept shooters who have attained "Novice" status or better in the Division they wish to shoot.

So to answer your question directly, no you just can't come up and enter.

Quick question for you Bob,
Do you accept "cross-discipline" training as a qualification of entry. For instance, if I wanted to come out and play, would you accept my IPSC status as having adequate training to compete. If so then all i would have to do is join IDPA, correct?
Please let me know, sounds like fun .
Thank
Clint

Clint,
I can answer for you . B/B is accepted as "holster qualified" you would still need to be an IDPA member and have shot the Qualifier run by an IDPA S/O.

If you want to come up and shoot get your membership at www.idpa.com and read up on the rules. Then come up a day or two ahead of time and one of our S/O's will run you through the qualifier.
