2009 Ontario I.D.P.A. Provincial Championship

Well I guess I had better brush up on my firearm mechanics. I didn't realize that an XD was relegated to ESP classification. (Learn new stuff everyday)....

The XD is classified by Springield as a single action pistol, hence ESP. It has been that way since the gun came out.

Sw idpa

I played a little with the folks down at the Lambton club when I was down there last summer and had a great time. They are very welcoming.

IDPA in this part of the world should take off nicely as they can jump the border very easily to shoot at matches in the states of Michigan, Ohio, etc.

Our little family is blossoming nicely.

If I had the spcae for parking, not a problem. Now that being said, we could see how many people are interested, meet at my club and either car pool from there, or do the bus thing?

Steve, any chance if I train a couple times per week I would be able to try this out in August? LOL My last couple of shoots have been disgraceful! Taking time off really hurts your game in IDPA. I still shoot much better with my .45 than my 9mm.

You only shoot against those at your level of skill anyway. Go down to the shoot, enjoy yourself, meet some very nice folks. If you shoot as well as your skill level allows then you will have shot a great match. All you get at the end of the day is a 12 1/2 cent certificate so no big deal one way or another. Beat Steve on a stage and you get a whole year to remind him of it!:D
