Just got back from a great day at the Oshawa Skeet & Gun Club having attended the 2010 Ontario Provincial Junior Championships with 5 of our juniors from the Barrie Gun Club.
The weather was a little shaky and we were thinking bathing suits might be in order... however, when our junior squad shot their 100 the rain stopped.
I'll post a full report when the scores are emailed, but the champ was a 12-year old sub-junior (wow!) with a score of 90/100 followed by Michael Ball with an 89 and Philip Finlay with an 88. Kyle Hovey took 4th with an 87.
It was great to see so many kids out having a great day of shooting. Thanks to the Oshawa club, OSSA directors and sponsors. Looking forward to next year.
