To our Quigley International Shooters,
Here is the info flyer for Quigley 2012 for your consideration. I am especially sorry for the cancellation of last year’s Quigley match regarding those of you that traveled such great distances at great expense, not to mention the added burden of paperwork to get your rifles and ammo into the US.
I have heard from a number of international shooters (listed below) and I will be sending the necessary Letter of Invitation to them in order to process papers with the BATF for import of firearms. Those should be out this week. If your name is not on the list and you are considering attending this year’s match please contact me and I will get a letter to you.

Quigley Match 2012 Flyers attached
Items of note for Quigley veterans who have seen this flyer so often that they don't really read it any more...
+Due to last year's weather cancellation this is the 21st annual Quigley (again).
+If you registered for Quigley 2011 and didn't have a chance to get a refund for the match and wanted one, we have a list of the shooters that registered and will apply last year's fee to this year's match.
+Black Powder substitutes are specified as acceptable for match loads.
+For those with takedown rifles (CPAs, Ballards, etc) the same barrel must be used throughout the match.
+Depending on the number of shooters we may shoot 3 targets each day to ensure enough daylight on Saturday. Please be prepared to stay later on Sunday if necessary.
+Youth category ages are raised one year so that any youth shooter who missed their last chance to compete in a category because of last year's match cancellation will still have the opportunity. Only for Quigley 2012 Small Fry is 12 and under, Youth is 13-16.
+The Quigley Knife Show is on again for this year on Friday evening.
+Starting targets for the groups will be available on Saturday morning at the headquarters to facilitate sighting in. That should reduce the number of targets everyone tries to sight in on the morning of the match and hopefully thin out the pre-match crowds on the firing lines.
+There were only four 'all off-hand' category shooters in 2010. If there are less than ten in 2012 the category will be deleted from competition. If you have ever thought you might want to try it, do it this year.
+There is now a Quigley website, www.quigleymatch.com. It has a fair amount of info about the match but a primary reason for getting it up and running is to provide a source of current info for shooters headed to the Q. Our major difficulty last year was finding ways to let people know of the cancellation while traveling to the match. For you internet savvy shooters it will allow you to check in for any last minute info. We hope it will be totally unnecessary this year!
Hope to see you on the Q flat,
Buz
