Couple nice looking shooters IMHO. Hopefully they got the crappy machining taken care of and I agree with Archie that mountain rifle better damn well come in 260 and something else besides the usual .243, 7-08, 308, 270 etc.

I have a feeling it will just be a Mountain LSS barreled action in a B&C stock but still that gives us the .280 Rem for cool cartridges. Who knows maybe we'll see it in .260 *crosses fingers*

The BDL 7 Mag is obviously to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Rem 700 and the 7mm Rem Mag cartridge. Looks just like a 1962 model.

that stainless MR should sell...wonder if that B&C handle has an aluminium bedding block?

Agreed the Introduction of the SPS was so Remington could brain wash us into thinking "ya these crappy finishes are now good "mid level" guns. And the old style BDL SS Finishes are worth 1000$ when they in fact used to be 650$"

Goddamn shame if you ask me. I still love Model 700's though

I love my M700's but I hope these ones will function without a trip to warranty for final finishing to make them work. That 700 Mtn looks good, makes more sense than the LSS

Not a huge fan of 700's but the MR is quite nice.

Hopefully they offer it in short and long action chamberings.
