Just thought Id throw up a couple pics on here of my 2012 hunting season...

Weighed in at 350lbs and measured 6'7"

Saw my first Roosevelt in the Nanaimo watershed in 1985. Put in for the draw in 1986, connected and collected a 12 year old 6 x 6. Currently in the book scoring 320 4/8.
Applied again in 1987 and collected a 5 x 5. They are truly magnificent animals.
A spike blacktail will weigh about 55 to the locker, and a 2 point about 65 whereas a spike in the Cariboo might be closer to 90 when hung for the butcher.
They are also an interesting animal to hunt.
