I'd like to do this, but dont have a shotgun. What type would one recommend for these matches? Something inexpensive.
 
Reliable pump action would probably be ideal, primarily for capacity. Semi's are kind of limited here in Canada.

If you intend on going, sign up while there are slots available and you can always borrow some equipment for the match.
If you can't find anything before the match, let me know and you can borrow my spare.

I use either a Hatsan Optima/Escort or a Dominion Arms Grizzly with extra magazines. Depends on how many targets you shoot your shotgun at. I only have 3 mags for the Grizzly, so anything more than 16 rounds needed out comes the Hatsan.

I have not shot one of these matches before. Can anyone give me a general idea of what a course of fire looks like? Is there a YouTube of one of last years shoots?

Not the best vids or the best shooting but here are the stages from last year to give you a bit of an idea of what to expect. It was my first 3-gun match and I can tell you that the TH crew made those of us noobs feel welcome...well not 667, but the rest of the guys did anyways ;)
