ALL FIREARMS, FIREARM ACCESSORIES, HOLSTERS, SLINGS AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT MUST BE SAFE AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER
The competition is open to all law enforcement service, security agency or military. Competitors must have the following criteria established prior to attending:
Have successfully completed a training course specific to the firearm from the Canadian Armed Forces, a Law Enforcement Service, Security Agency, MilCun Training Centre or other similar firearms training business. Competitors will be accepted if they have participated in previous MilCun/OSA tactical/carbine rifle/pistol/sniper or service rifle events.
The competition involves three separate stage locations where competitors may be required to engage targets from 5 to 1000 meters.
Competitors may use any semiautomatic rifle, bolt action rifle, pistol and related support equipment (optics, sights, sling, monopod or bi-pod, magazines and pouches).
The same rifle(s) and pistol must be used throughout each stage required. It is important that competitors come prepared with their rifle effectively zeroed prior to the event. There will be no opportunity to zero your firearm the day of the event.
A minimum of 8 - 5 round or 4 - 10 round magazines are required for carbine.
Minimum of three pistol magazines will be required, however, more is recommended.
All rifles will shoot in the same class (iron sights shoot against optics). 5 round
magazines shoot against 10 round magazines
Stages: 5
1000 meter range – 3 Stages Sniper
600 meter range – 1 Stage Carbine
100 meter range – 3 Stages Pistol
Ammunition:
75 rounds for Pistol,
70 rounds for Carbine
50 rounds for Sniper
Costs: $50.00 for one event, $65 for two events and $80 for all three events.
