I was going to pull the trigger and buy a new Savage 10 FCP-K, or a 110 HS Precision today but I've been also thinking about the Remington 700. The new VTR in flat dark earth looks appealing and I like the fact that it already has a bipod, rail, oversize bolt handle along with a "brake" if you can call it that.
Anywho, I am happy to buy and put all of this gear on another rifle if the other rifle is that much better, but the 700 VTR is about $250 less and already has the toys on it. You can just mount a scope and hit the range. Does anyone have experience with this new rifle in terms of quality and accuracy or any comments?
