I cant find the regs or season dates anywhere for the 2015/2016 Waterfowl season, do they not come out until closer to September or am I really just having a hard time finding them with my google skills?

I have not found any yet. Seems like there will be some good changes this year involving possession limits and how to ID a harvested bird. (option to leave head on instead of complete wing, etc.)

Increased limits would be good but we have never once hit our limits where we hunt, I would take a longer season over higher limits, but thats just because we still aren't good enough to limit out haha.

usually opener is last Saturday closest to the 25th of September here in southern Ontario, September 20th in central and September 15th north-changes in goose season referring to early season hunts depend on area - i.e. mnrs wildlife management unit..some last 10 days , some areas don't have an early season...Environment Canada usually has their seasons out on the internet by July or early August at the latest

The limits won't be increased. It is proposed that the possession limit be eliminated. I.E. if the daily limit is five birds you can harvest (if you are lucky enough) 5 birds every day of the open season. The math behind it is that some fellows on week long water fowling trips hit the possession limit on day three of a 6 day trip. This can lead to the dumping of birds to continue hunting. With the new proposal you can shoot a daily limit every day for six days for example. You have to acquire the birds by daily limit. Saying you cannot have more birds (daily limits) than the number of days you have hunted. Also all birds in possession must be processed. Cleaned and packaged/frozen suffices. I think it makes sense if it stops the waste of birds. Of course birds harvested on the day of the hunt do not need to be processed in the field.
