Alliant Powders is offering 3 new products this year. They are basically variations of existing powders to fit in between some of their other stuff.

(They didn't have a bottle of RL26 to display)

I don't have much to write on it but:

Reloder 23

Standard & Magnum Rifle Powder
Basically is a little slower than Reloder 22 but is more temperature resistant and stable

Reloder 26

Magnum Rifle Powder
Basically a tiny bit slower than Reloder 25 and a little less temperatire sensitive

BE-86

Pistol Powder
It's closest relative is Unique.
It has smaller granules allowing for it to throw easier and it meters better and has less flash

They said things are starting to slow down and they expect most of their powders to be available up here within 6 months.

Reloader 23 and 26 use the same technology as AR-Comp.

Do not turn this into a whine thread about powder availability. There will be zero tolerance. This is the one and final warning about that.

did they say what calibres these new powders are supposed to be geared towards? would also be pretty nice to get more consistency with finding their products here

I have heard that people have been seeing some BE-86 down south for a while. It's like unique, I guess. Maybe a little more oomph, but actually meters well. Cleaner, too. So basically, I don't have anything to add other than some of these aren't that new.

Check the large sellers there is nothing unless you shot 50 or black powder.
I wasn't whining, is stating the facts taboo

I just bought 3lb of RL10X and 2lb of Power Pro 300-MP last week from Raynershine and he had lots left in stock. I've seen other Alliant powders in stock elsewhere recently too. Still no Unique, 2400, or any Dot powders or Bullseye though. Just rifle and the 300-MP magnum pistol powder.
