This year KRG was displaying a new chassis they are planning to begin production with in the next few months.
It is a lightweight folding chassis for the Remington 700 Footprint. Short Action only.
It features a carbon fiber foregrip and heavy use of titanium screws and weight cutting machining.
They are still working on the final production design so the items pictured are still prototypes and are subject to minor changes.
The chassis is a right folding stock which does create one issue that they are working on and that it is hinge. because of the direction of the fold, the hinge setup has to stick to the right, that has the potential to get in the way of a right handed shooter. Either if you prefer to shoot thumb up, or if you are trying to reach your thumb up to utilize the safety. The rep said he was still working on that part and are planning to move the hinge back a tiny bit to there is less in the way of the thumb.
The carbon fiber forend is nice, they are still working on the final planned thickness and detailed design for it.
Overall weight right now is planned to me in the 3.5-4lb mark.
