Target Vision is producing a short and long range remote target viewing kit that includes a camera and transmitter system for watching target results.

It uses a wifi signal allowing for a user to utilize their phone or tablet to interact with an android or apple app.

Some other main features:
Multiple Viewer Capability (something to consider for competition and recreation use so judges can track shooting and your spotter and spectators at the same time, etc.
16+ Hour Battery Life
Pelican Case (long range only)
1 Year Warranty
Weather Resistant system.
USB Charging

The long range can work out to 1 Mile with an MSRP of $895 and the short range out to 300yds with MSRP of $595

It is a one stop shop product that comes ready to use. It is super simple to set up as well. The device just needs to be set up about 15-20 feet back from the target if I recall correctly. He may have said yards or feet, I will double check.

Lets walk through the components first:

1. The Camera component also contains the transmitter. Here the camera can be positioned away from the target. The transmitter sends a signal to the receiver or directly to a smart device. The reason it can work directly to a smart device and not just to the receiver is because the user can use their smart device down at the target area to align and set up the camera using their phone or tablet screen. Obviously for the 1 mile long range version, it doesn't have the range for a user to connect directly to the transmitter while it is past 300m so that is why that version includes a receiver which just retransmits the wifi signal to the local shooting area.

2. The receiver (long range kit only) stands near the shooter and sends the signal to the users device. Here you can have multiple people log into the device. The short range system does not come with a receiver as it is close enough to work directly with the camera.

3. simply log into the system and multiple people can watch the target. This is done through an android or Itunes App, which includes cool target tracking software and other features

App Features:
Shot Tracking
Snap Shot
Video recording
show/hide shot marking (hide or mark the shots from your last group so you don't have to go way out there again to switch targets.)
Photo Gallery
Marker Color changes (mark different groups or targets with various colors, say if multiple people shooting or different guns or something)
Mark Groups, highlight group areas
Marker Side (customize the marker size say if shooting various calibers which product different sized holes.

I can now add some additional information which makes this product more than just a remote camera.

im a little lost on this wifi thing.
so there needs to be wifi at the range for it to work?
or does is bluetooth to your device.... actually that too far away to bluetooth.
im lost on how it uses wifi, does it have it own or is relying on your device to be set to hotspot?

isnt there the same kinda item out already that is around the same price?

It uses wifi in adhoc mode. A direct connection between the cam and the app via your wifi connection. Seen similar setups using 2 cellphones

We also saw this at Shot Show, I am seriously thinking about getting one. It would work great at the range when you have several guys shooting at the same target. It also saves a lot of walking back and forth to your target and taping up your targets. Also, when you are shooting and you can't remember which is your 1st or 4th shot, it tells you which one you shot 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.
