Lets revive some Dealer and Distributor / importer interest in this redesign of the Hatsan Escort DEFENDER pump action
that was introduced two years ago in 2014 and still has not made it to Canada.

These are from the Hatsan Tactical catalog 2016.
All new design with shell holder stock, longer forend with rail, heatshield and fiber optic front sight, black and marine with 14 inch barrel.
These would be NON Restricted in the full butt stock pump action version seen here.

Would love to have the MARINE version for an all around camp, outdoor or HD ideal solution.
Pretty darn Tacti-Cool too.

I picked up a Canuck Defender, fun little pump shotty. Not as tacticool with the walnut furniture, but runs well and didn't cost much
 
These look cool, but wonder what the price would be? I wonder if the heat shield could go on the the other 14" Hatsan aimguards.

There is a lot more added here than the previous Aim Guard and Marine Guard versions so I suspect the price would be $400 plus for the Black and closer to $500 for the Marine. Which you would spend customizing anyway. Don't think the heat shield will work on others. The similar Armtac heat shields have tangs at the rear that key into notches machined into the receiver and this looks the same.
 
Is it possible to buy parts for an escort one already has? I've been thinking of getting a heat shield and a 14 inch barrel also but not sure where to get parts or if other manufacturers work with this one
