Match Details:

K&M Precision Rifle Training is proud to host the annual “K&M Precision Rifle Competition”. With input from the top competitors/instructors around the country, combined with first class training facilities this event is one of the nation’s premier long range precision rifle matches of the year. In association with the Precision Rifle Series and primary sponsor Kahles Optics it draws those from across the country who wish to compete against the nation’s best professionals, military operators and the many new shooters who are just joining our discipline.

The match is high tempo with minimal “down time” between stages. K&M takes pride in hosting the most professional and efficient championship style match in the nation. The course of fire tests and trains disciplines from across law enforcement, military and practical marksman spectrums. There is not another site in the country that has the facility to support a course of fire like K&M’s. Competitors can expect engagements from 50-1200yds at an assortment of steel, reactive, paper and automated moving targets. Target size will vary in difficulty based on the shooters position, distance, props used and time allotted. Most stages will include “stressors”, either time and/or movement. All scoring will be transparent and balanced in order to reward the most consistent shooters. The competition requires no more than 200 rounds to complete the course of fire and is caliber restricted to 300 WinMag and below. The course of fire will be made public at the start of the competition.

Tune-Up

A K&M Competition Tune-Up is open to all competitors the day prior to the match from 10am to 3pm. The Tune-up is designed for competitors to utilize ranges at their own pace and time for some last minute training or to become familiar with the K&M Shooting Complex. Competitors may show up anytime throughout the tune block time and shoot as little or as much as they require. The tune-up will allow competitors to confirm zero, gather/confirm ballistic data out to 1200 yards, engage the two moving target systems, rehearse range exercises and stress shoot stages using props commonly employed in the nation’s leading precision rifle competitions. The tune-up will utilize all main ranges and props on the K&M Shooting Complex, but will not practice any event in a manner that will provide competitors an advantage during the competition. The K&M staff will provide Range Officers at each range/firing point to assist in spotting, managing practice stages, maintaining safety and to aid newer shooters in improving their performance. The K&M Competition Tune-up cost is $50 and can be paid for during registration or as shooters arrive to the complex.

I wish we had similar events in Canada, preferably near me.

The guitar riff music was so annoying in the video (overpowering the sounds of the actual action, and didn't fit the scenes shown) , my brain automatically countered it by playing banjo music. I like my imaginary version better, and I'm not even fond of the banjo.
