From Kahr Firearms Group are some beautiful semi auto Thompson SMG copies.
They showed two stunning examples, one gold plated, one with a silvery chrome finish.
As well, there were several versions of standard blued steel guns.
Some with 20 round box mags, others with the 50 round drum mag.
Unfortunately, all Thompson SMG variant are prohibited in Canada.

Anyway, for your viewing pleasure...

Notice that the cocking handle knob is on the top on the top two guns, like the M1928.
On the lower gun, the knob is on the side, like the later simplified M1A1 Thompson.

An old guy I work with has a Tommy Gun locked in his safe.

So sad that he's allowed to own it, but not allowed to shoot it.

Even sadder is that when he dies, it goes to the smelter.

,,,,,,, All these type of guns ( I have a 1921 A1 Tommy also) do NOT go to the smelter.
They are de-activated & sold to almost anyone as a mantle piece.
I wish they could stay live firing , but @ least they do no go to the smelter .

I am thinking about donating my 12.5s including my 1927A1 to a museum when I die. That way they won't be welded up.
