.....

I have only used my to 1k on our range but it works well, better when it is a bit overcast which is good because if I haul out a gun case it is garaunteed to rain! LOL
When I first got it we set if up on a friend's pick up pointing at his can and I was close to I mile away in mine and it worked great as far as seeing how many fingers he was holding up etc.
I like how I can count and recall my shots as well .
As far as the reception goes overall, I like mine .

I have one, but haven't tried it out much past 500m; also, mine is one of the older ones (the original company was bought out about a year ago or so). Personally, I love this device, so much I've only shot it once (thank God for purchasing additional warranty) :).

You place the camera unit on the ground near the target say between 1 ~ 2 metres depending on the size of the target? You can remove the "radio", and mount it on a tripod to improve the signal from the camera to your phone. Likewise there is a "booster" unit that you can setup where you are shooting to improve the quality of the signal.

I like the app itself. Takes a couple of minutes to setup prior to shooting, but once it's done its easy to use. If you're punching paper, it's very handy to have the instant feedback from your shot AND you can really shoot up the target. It saves you a lot of trips downrange to inspect/swap targets.

You can easily calculate group size and save images for later. You can also get scope corrections from the app, which can be handy when sighting in (no math, measuring, etc).

I had a Gen 1 Bullseye (long distance version with booster, was supposed to be easy 1000yds, only got 700 most days) and switched to new Target Vision system. Target Vision is a much more user friendly product. Never had it NOT work, but have only tested it to 1200yds and it was flawless. Set near target, turn on, hook up via app, line up target to camera, then go back to bench, turn on receiver, verify hookup, and start shooting.

I used one a few times camera was about 6ft from the target. Resolution was okay. I wouldn't buy one

I bought a shotmarker and love it works great

+1 on target vision it's much better than bullseye if shotmarker isn't an option

I ended up buying the Longshot LR3 (Target Vision). Thanks Clay!

Just a few notes for you
A: highly reflective target backing is not as good as flat coloured targets in the sun
B: make sure you charge your batteries the night before you plan to shoot
C: when shooting in the winter NEVER put your phone on a concrete bench while you are shooting !Laugh2
It's amazing how fast the battery will die!!:p
