Ok, I'll admit, this may not be a finalist for the "Post of the Year" award, but, it does mark the end of a two-year quest of mine.

Since my childhood, I've always needed prescription glasses, but it's only been two years since I've had to wear them all the time, not just for reading or computer work. And since then, I've been looking for safety eyewear that would fit well over my glasses, without being the equivalent of a diving mask, and without feeling like their "arms" were carving their way into my skull with the pressure of the earmuffs.

Shot Show Range day offered my a chance to try a model from Peltor Sports; Fremen had already talked to me about their electronic ear muffs, and when we visited Peltor's booth, I enquired about their eyewear.

You will notice that I am not a professional model on this great picture, but it shows me wearing the goggles:

I had the safety eyewear all day, with my earmuffs on, and I have to say, Woohoo! I started feeling a bit of fatigue only during the last hour - that means that I pretty much didn't even feel I had these things on for a solid six hours straight. Definitely will improve my level of enjoyement during my range visits from now on.

Hey Lou: Are these available in Canada, if so where? Didn't see you and your entourage at the MILSURP match last Saturday. There was quite a turnout for a winter match.Had to be about 40-45 people.

Thanks,

Doug

I think 3M Canada is the distributor; not sure about dealers though.

Indeed I missed the winter milsurp match, won't miss the spring shoot!

That's what I saw too. I was wondering if bsand had found them under a different name or reseller or is picking them up from a cross border mailbox

I did click the other vendors link and find that CrucialOutdoor sells them for 9.39 but they want 27 bucks shipping to Canada.....
He must have a US drop box.

Have to agree with Lou on these. They were great. 6 hours and no real issues at all with them on. Had them on over large hearing protection and they went unnoticed most of the say.
Only noticed them once and that was when they caught a bit of splash back on a pistol bay.
