Condition is everything.
Most of the moulds I see at gun shows are slightly abused.
Perhaps, not abused, but used by someone lacking some finesse in handling them.
Often lead smears between the cavities and rock between the two halves.
This can be corrected, but takes time.
Hoch moulds are excellent, but many were specific to one rifle. These are for the advanced caster who wants the best bullets.
A buyer won't pay as much for one, unless he knows it will match his rifle.
As well, few shooters know what one is.
Unless in excellent condition, with handles, it might only bring $75, about 1/3 of its new price.
