Time will only tell us is we are a go by then. Sask Gov has started their phased roll out to start the economy since we have flattened the COVID curve. Our sport, being non-contact and regimented as it is, we are safer than the golf courses which are in Phase 1 and they open May 15th. The campgrounds open June 1st. Other groups of business fire up May 19th. To be safe, the SPRA will start things off this year with our first event, called the Covid Classic, 3x900 (2+15) day1, 3x1000 (2+15) Day 2, pairs fire, using T1, T3. T5 and T7 (Shotmarkers) and our 900 and 1000 yd lines are approx 120 feet long so we have well over the 2M spacing between the shooters on the line, even with pairs, using even 2nd target. We plan on keep relays to 10 so each can have a mutter area where the next group is 100+ yds away, easy when we have 800 acres LOL Other restrictions apply still like pre-reg and pmt required, no score cards, no award ceremony, no walkups, etc We plan on also rotating the groups thru the 1000 to 800 yd area so we never have over 10 cars in an area. Clubhouse (except washroom) closed to public. With our new year end on June 15th, this is the only income we will see in 2020 besides membership fees. Hard after just taking large expenses certifying our range and buying 7 shotmarkers the past two years but we will survive ;)

Super sweet! I hope most the usual suspects will come... except for Charles and Gordon so I can finally have a chance at a 1st or 2nd place win in FT/R … haha just kidding! ;)
 
Yes, GT booked is room at Lanigan no problems and restaurants allowed to open with 50% cap. as of phase three of the open plan which begins June 8th. You can get it delivered to your hotel or you can also pickup your orders too before June 8th.
 
The 2020 Western's has been CANCELLED. Any fees you paid will be refunded by the match director Andy S.

Due to Covid-19 and the current Saskatchewan restrictions on hosting a competition, the Westerns Committee has been forced to cancel the PGW 2020 WCFCC.

The committee will vote on who will host the 2021& 2022 WCFCC - Saskatchewan and Manitoba

Refunds to those competitors who have registered and paid will go out in the next few weeks

The SPRA is still open for practice days (use at your own risk) at the Nokomis range and will continue to update the schedule as Saskatchewan moves through the next phases of Covid-19 Reopening

Please check the SPRA website and Facebook page for updates on possible matches and practice days as Saskatchewan moves into Phase 4 of reopening (TBD).

I am very sorry to see that COVID has caused this cancellation. I know that if there was any way possible to make it happen you would have done it.
