Luck was with me this year on the LEH applications and I drew a moose tag. On the morning of day 12 of the hunt, it all came together. The bull stopped broadside at 130 yards and the 338-06 barked. Moose camp was extra lively that night. Freezer is looking good!

Great! It is so good to have the kids along! Got our moose on the 21st and we had my buddy ten years old daughter along on our 8 day trip!! It was awesome!!

Hello Sir!

Normally I would not reply to a thread like without knowing you personally, this but I am compelled to do so!!

The picture with the young lad made me remember that we all should be taking our children and grandchildren out. That is how we teach the next generation that meat does not come off a styrofoam with plastic wrap from the cooler at grocery stores.

I am 60 now but was 9 when I experienced the same at 9 years old hunting with my late father. Have hunted since.

We as a group need to do the same thing with all the young ladies and gentlemen. The big city schools are full of left wing teachers who think this is wrong.

I got a call from my 8 year old (at the long time ago) sons school principal. Son had shot his first ruffed grouse with a 22 under my supervisor and showed him how to dress it.

Little did I know he took the heart, gizzard, and guts for grade 3 show and tell on Monday.

Back to the point: congratulations for having a young lad in camp who looks like he is having fun.

Well done,
Joe P
