Almost the end of the regular season in northern Alberta.
Its been another great year hunting with my two boys.
Cole my oldest has had a great season so far calling in a couple of nice Bull Elk for himself and good friend.
Garret my youngest took a nice Whitetail so far and still has the last week to look for a Bull moose.
I took a nice Whitetail at our cabin also.
Lucky to have two boys who enjoy the outdoors as much as me.Cole 6x6.jpgCole 5x5.jpgGarrets WT 2.jpgDarby WT.jpgGarrets WT 1.jpg

Cole the Elk hunter carries a Kimber hunter in 308 loaded with 168 gr Barnes TSX.
HE really likes the Kimber hunters light weight and handling.
Garret shoots a Winchester model 70 in 270 wsm loaded with 140 gr Barnes TSX.
I use my 30 06 Ackley improved also loaded with Barnes 168 gr TSX.

I'd bet money on that buck in the first photo is a hybrid. Definite Mule deer face with WT horns. The difference between the two bucks in the photo's is plain, second buck has a definite WT face.

Hey Lou
Just going out this morning with my youngest son to look for his Bull Moose.
Hope all is well in Northern Ontario.
