2021 gave us some new options with the Spec180 and Lynx180 lowers aswell as the Jard180.

It sounds like Sterling Arms will be the next release (February 2022) with their R18mk2. TNA and I believe Spectre will both be coming out with new uppers for the 180s. The next batch of Famae rifles will also be arriving summer 2022 for those that put up the cash for a preorder.

Anything else that we can expect this year? New ACR? More 180 offerings from other manufacturers? Something else entirely?

with 2 years at the lab under its belt as of January 20th 2022 We might be 6 months to 3 years away from Marcolmar CETME Ls lmao

The real L is the one you take when you get excited about any new offerings on the Canadian market, expect your grandkids to enjoy the project that is "undergoing T&E, available next quarter!!"

I mean with the Cetme L its all said and done and have been available state side for the last 3 years. Its just in the RCMP labs getting toyed with by the lab...or after 2 years the report is sitting on a desk waiting for a stamp seeing as the lab is always so quick to deny a firearm and always dragging their heels on things that end up being approved

I forgot about the NDS (now PWA?) 180 offering that has been teased for over a year. The chances of seeing this actually materialize in 2022 is likely slim...but maybe.

I had no idea they were here already, I've never seen any for sale and no info anywhere

From my research I gather there is about 17 in Canada. 7 imported by Lever arms initially and another 10 by TI a few years later.

They weren't highly sought after when they were available new, a $3k price tag back in 2011 for a Chinese built gun wasn't exactly well recieved... and quite frankly, if they came new today they would cost more and still be a worse option than a T97 G3.

The few that are here will likely be the only ones here and will be traded between collectors, value based on how complete the kit remains. One sold at auction out east last year for over 10k. :sok2

The Bren 2 is another rifle sitting on RCMP desk for FRT review. It looks like the pistol version is R, no reason the carbine version shouldnt be NR assuming the proper barrel length.

Introducing new semi NR guns now is a waste as they will soon be prohibited. These clowns need to go first before we can have nice things again.
