The Cabin Fever Challenge is an online shooting competition where entrants upload a video of themselves demonstrating four unsupported shooting positions with specified reloads. The competition occurs between January 1st and March 31st each year. The 2025 season will represent its 11th year running and has been expanded to include SEVEN rifle divisions (each with its own division leader). The Cabin Fever Challenge leadership team is happy to announce the release of the new CFC2025 ruleset (V.2025A). We are a 100% volunteer leadership team and there is no entry fee.

● Division 1: Vintage Military Original / As-Issued.
● Division 2: Modern / Unlimited.
● Division 3: Manual Repeating Open.
● Division 4: Single Shot.
● Division 5: Muzzle Loading.
● Division 6: .22 Rimfire Open.
● Division 7: Manual Repeating Classic Irons.

It is recommended that you study the new rules in detail as there are some fundamental changes worthy of consideration. We believe the revised ruleset will open this musketry competition to a far wider audience through more flexibility in distance to target, providing custom target sizes, allowing a wider spectrum of rifles to shoot and splitting DIV-3 (Manual Repeating) into 'Classic Irons' and 'Open'.

Please hold off on questions until after Bloke on the Range has released the 2025 Cabin Fever Challenge Introduction video.

As you are aware Canada's firearm bans have essentially eliminated Canadians from DIVISION 2 (Modern Unlimited) and to a large extent DIVISION ONE (Vintage). CFC2025 is a good opportunity to show support for Canadian freedom in the face of widespread Government overreach and incompetence. Enter the competition and use your voice to respectfully protest.

Please share amongst your social media's and groups.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Check out these forum posts from previous years to get a taste of what type of event Cabin Fever Challenge is. I am a late starter to the CFC world as this competition has been running for the last 10 years and I've only had the chance to participate the previous 4 years; but, for those 4 years of entries I have had a whole pile of fun! I encourage everyone to get out there and try, keeping in mind the spirit of the event is to compete against YOURSELF. Test your marksmanship fundamentals and try to improve year over year. I look forward to seeing a load of entries this year

Now, feel free to check out these threads for the previous years' events
