Get Ready for the 2025 NFA Algonquin Cup - Ontario IDPA Provincial Championship presented by Canada's National Firearm Association.
After last year’s spectacular return, we’re thrilled to announce the 2025 Algonquin Cup, and this year, we’re taking it to the next level! Join us for a Tier 3 IDPA Ontario Provincial Championship hosted at the stunning Eagle Lake Gun Club (ELGC) in Sundridge, Ontario.

Match Format:
Stage Count: 11 including 1 Low-light, and Calibration.
Approximate Round Count: 170 – bring extra rounds just in case.
Divisions: CDP, ESP, SSP, CCP, REV, and CO.
Trophies, Prizes, and Raffles
- Saturday, July 19th – Match staff, volunteers, and industry only shoot
- Sunday, July 20th – Match Day – Main shoot
Holster Qualifications:
- Any of the following: IPSC, IDPA/NSCI, CFI, CSSA, Black Badge, or ELGC.
- IDPA Holster (No Race Gun Holsters).
- No IWB or Appendix Carry Holsters – unless approved by MD*.
- Pistol Holsters need to have at least 1 level of retention.
*Any shooters wishing to compete with appendix carry are asked to contact MD for approval.
Please make sure these details are up-to-date and accurate.
No Division or classification changes can be made after close of registration on Friday, July 4th, 2025. All shooters must be a current member of IDPA and be classified.
Payment and Fees:
Match Fees: $110 CAD ($55 for Ladies and Junior*)
* Junior any participant between the ages of 12 - 17, and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
To secure your spot and squad, please send email money transfer of $110 CAD to eaglelakegunclub@gmail.com. Please include your name as registered in the match along with AC25 in the message box. Personalized named match jerseys will be available for $55 (pick up at time of sign in the morning of the event), and fee should be added to your match registration payment. All shooters will be approved to squad within 24-48 hours after match payment has been received. Contact MD for alternative payment options.
No match refunds will be provided after June 1, 2025 for Withdrawals or Cancellations. A $10 processing fee will be incurred on requested refund.
Match Day:
Check In begins at 7:30 AM till 9:00 AM, followed by Safety Brief @ 9:10 AM, and with first shot fired at 9:30 AM.
Please be aware there will be equipment checks at sign in.
All competitors must follow the current IDPA rule book and the ELGC range rules.
- No High Muzzle Reloads (exempt revolvers)
- No Ground Strikes
