204 FB varmint 35 grain Any suggestions for a load

Im going to load some FB Varmint 35 Grain for a 204, would appriciate any suggests on powder and load for it. The gun is Ruger varmit heavy Barrel.

I use BL-C2 powder. Measures like a dream and is easy to get in those 20 cal tiny case mouths. I use an otoscope specula (... it is one of those ear-looker-innrer things from the doctors office) as a funnel for loading.

Use the hodgdon relaoding data center numbers for your starting point, but for me I fill the case to the brim, scrape it level and then seat the bullet just enough to stay gripped by the case seriously... Check the Hodgdon data for BLC2 loads, but I love the powder.

28.2grs of XBR 8208 and CCI 450 primers work very well in 3 different 204s I load 35gr Bergers for. It is a max load so approach with caution. I use to load 27.9grs of H4895 but I like how the 8208 meters better. I used BL-C(2) for 40gr Vmaxs and gopher shooting but found POI move way too much when I was out calling coyotes in -35 to -40C weather, might be alright in BC. but MB. winters are just a little harsher.

I`m using H322 and 8208, prefere the H322 as it meters well and produces good groups and velocity. I also have an 8 lb jug of it.
