need some help settlin a debate when did the 204 ruger come into production

I can't give you an exact date, but the first I had heard of it was from the February 2004 issue of Shooting Times.

I believe it was sometime in 2004. The first mention of it in Varmint Hunter magazine appears to be in Issue #50, July 2004, and in Small Caliber News in its Winter 2004 issue (Vol.7, No.4).
