O.K. boys I could use a little help with a reloading problem.I'am not a newbie but some of you seem to really know your stuff so here goes. For the life of me I can't seem to reload for my 204 without getting what I call bullet wobble. When I finish loading I like to put the loaded cartridge on it's side on a nice level surface and slowly roll the cartridge while i visually watch the bullet to see if it runs true without wobbling.Very seldom do they look good and I've already adjusted my sizing die to make sure the expander ball is dead center (which it is).My first set of dies (RCBS) actually had the expander rod/ball assembly off centered so I returned them for the new set I have now (which looks nice and centered). This is the only cartrige I reload that does this and my swift,22-250 etc;.etc; are all fine so it's not like I don't know how to adjust dies.Anyway have you got any idea what it might be.:runaway::cool:

When you are seating the bullet, seat about 1/8th of an inch into the case then back the case out and give it about a 1/3rd of a turn in the shellholder, seat about half the bullet, back it out and give it another 1/3rd of a turn then finish the seating process.

A bullet runout guage will give you a better indication of how your concentricity is. My match loads are .002 or less. Anything over .002 get's used for practice or smacking the 500m gongs.

Have you checked the case neck thickness of your cases? Neck turning to clean the necks up may help solve this as well.
