Anyone have one? Good results with coyotes? I currently shoot a 22-250 but often get some pretty big holes in coyotes. Looking for something that would result in less pelt damage but am not willing to sacrifice accuracy or the trajectory my 22-250 has. Any feedback?

I heard that this caliber was great for coyotes and other varmints but it's use is quite limited to these. Also, it seems to be real torture for your barrel's rifling because of it's really high muzzle velocity. But with such speed you have really flat trajectory.

These are just reports that I've read from many places, I have no first hand experience with this caliber. Hope this helps.

.204 Information

This is a truly remarkable light varmint caliber. I fired a 35 grain handload at a 1 litre soda bottle filled with water. At 70 meters it blew the bottle 5 meters in the air and split it back and front from top to bottom. I can't imagine what this would have done to a small critter.

I have the Remington M700 LVSF in .204 Ruger shown above.
