looking to load barnes varmit grenades for ym 204 remington 700 vtr anyone here found a load that works well in theirs?

In my 700 VSSFII I am using BR4 primers in Win brass, 26gr BVG over 29.0 grains of Varget. 4150fps out of the 26" barrel, groups 0.5", sometime better. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MAX LOAD IN MY RIFLE, YOU WILL START LOWER AND WORK UP, PLEASE REFER TO YOUR LOADING MANUALS.

need to buy a new manual neither of mine have any data on the 204

I used the Win 748 powder with 27gr, no where near book max , but a good accurate load in my CZ varmint and my varmint HS Precision. FS

I have been shooting 26g BVG with 29g of H-4895 behind them in my 204 ruger .Last summer I ran them over a crony and the first shot I took was 4455 FPS ya it was a bit of a warm day but there was no signs of pressure.They seem to shoot a consistant 3/4 of an inch with devistating results

4455fps, guess I'll try some H4895. The BVG's seem to shoot better the harder you drive them , at least thats what happened with Varget.
