Looking for some info on the 208 gr. Amax out of a 300 WSM. Has anyone tried it yet. What kind of success did you have?
I have a F-Class / long range hunting rifle in 300 WSM on the way and would like to get a good long range target load worked up. I was not sure what bullet to start with but now that Hornady has released the 208 gr. Amax I figured I'd start with it. I'm certainly interested to know of any other bullet/powder combinations that have worked for others. I don't feel any need to re-invent the wheel as it where.
Has anyone tried this combination yet?
What powder have you used or would you recommend?
What velocities did you achieve?
Aaccuracy?
Overall seating length?
