20G Mossberg 500 info.

I have an old Mossberg 500 20g and it was my mothers.
Nothing has ever been modified or changed it was bought brand new.

Serial # H383###

It looks like it uses a 12g Stock because where the stock meets the receiver there is about 1/16" all the way around it or a bit bigger. Will any 12g stock fit my 20g gun? Like a Mesa or Knoxx?

It has a single forearm bar that attaches the forearm to action.

I am wanting to look at some aftermarket accessories and have see some sites: Halvinsales

But they say new/old mossbergs.

What is that difference.

The stocks on these guns are always a bit proud of the reciever.
Just the way they and lots of others are made.
better than been to small. plus if you refinish, you have lots of wood to work with. The single action bar can be a weak spot in these guns.
