218 marlin twist rate?

I am not sure if this is in the right forum but, I have just aquired a marlin 1894cl in 218 bee and was wondering if anyone knew what the twist rate was?

I am wondering specifically if a fn55grain cast bullet will stabilize, or should I stick to the fn45 grain jacketed load?. Thanks in advance for any insight Jed

1-16" Jed, and I would stick with the 45gr HP, it's ideal for the Bee. Try the cast for sure, but I wouldn't expect too much, there's a chance it might not be too bad mind you as it would have a lot of bearing surface.
