22-250/Heavy Bullets??

Up to 70 gr, maybe, with a stiff load, though more likely in the 60-62 gr range. (Depends on bullet length, though, rather than bullet weight). Most factory 22-250 tubes are 1 in 14 twist, and you're generally hard pressed to get past 55 gr with those.
 
I agree, up to 60 grs sounds right. The key is the length of the bullet, so a bullet that has a VLD profile will require a faster twist to stabilize than one that is a flat based - round nose even though the weight is the same. The VLD profile makes the bullet long as possible, and the FBRN profile makes the bullet almost as short as possible.
