I introduced my Remington 700 22-250 to a crow today at about 85 yards. One 60 grain Hornady over 35 grains of IMR 4064.
He landed on a stump and was about to take off again when I clipped his wings, I went to see the remains and there was a blood splatter about 8 feet by 8 feet and all over the stump.
The new snow made it easier to see the directional spray.
It really surprised me about the damage it did as all I ever shot before was rabbits and bigger critters with the 22-250.
