Would like to start reloading for my 22-250 and would like some suggestions for powder and bullets. I have a great target load that one of my club members loads for me but I need something suitable for coyote hunting.

Thanks, Terry

I use 4064 with 55gr vmax bullets at 36.0 gr. Seated just into the lands and moly coated, there are no pressure issues - notwithstanding that this is over the max published load with this bullet/powder combination. Coming out a little over 3600fps, it's good for 3/8" groups with my Savage 12BVSS.

32/3031 with a 52gr bullet was an accuracy load in Ken Waters manual. It is VERY accurate and consistant in my 22/250.

They say its temperature sensitive, but I've had good results with Win 760 ball powder and the 60 grain sierra hp.
It ,(the bullet) may or may not be too heavy for your particular twist rate to stabilize but it works great in my Savage M-12 VLP (1:12).

50 gr. vmax over a charge of varget. 55gr. Bergers w/ more varget. I sorta stopped messing around once I found those two. Introduce a crow to a 50gr. vmax at 3800 fps, and you'll be hooked!

My current 22-250 load is a 55 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip over a charge of Win. 760. This load give me good velocity and accuracy out of my Rem. 700.
